Object stuck in feeder

Remove the feeder tray and using your fingers (printer turned off and unplugged), rotate the rollers by hand the opposite way that they normally travel. So in other words, 'pull' the roller towards you. It may help if you have the machine upside-down too, so that the dropped item can fall out if the lid is open.

I can't get my OfficeJet Pro L7590 to feed documents through the Automatic Document Feeder.

Here is a link to HP's support docs on the subject. (and here) and here and here.
If you have access to compressed air you can GENTLY blow through the machine to remove dust that's built up.
Otherwise, here is the home page for support for your printer. Perhaps there's some info in the hp forums that may help....
Best of luck!

I hope this information allows you to resolve this issue. If you need further assistance, please post back with a comment to this thread.
If I've managed to answer your question or solve a problem, please take just a moment to rate this post....thanks!

Fax not installed

Hi,
From the control panel, press Setup.
Select Tools, and then select Run Fax Test.

The device displays the status of the test on the display and prints a report for you to view.

Setup as needed from here,
you can use the basic fax setup procedure to help setup.

Hope this helps

HP office jet feeder won't work when trying to fax

the little pieces of plastic are the sensor flags which is why it will not feed, those are required to let the machine know that the paper is present in the feeder. No flag no feed. Look at the plastic thing try to figure out where it goes in the feeder if you look close, you will see a spot where they go.
