Hi Brooke, thank you for allowing
me to assist you!
Often this happens because the washer door is not securely latch or the
cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once
to resume cycle. If the issue persists, try reprogramming the unit by either
unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately
ten minutes and then turn the unit back on. If issue persists, then more than
likely the unit has a faulty door latch, a communication error with the control
board, or a potential wiring failure. You may wish to reach out to an appliance expert
who is best equipped to pinpoint the exact problem, which can often save you
funds and a headache.
Best regards!
SOURCE: My fridgidaire frontloader wont do a spin cycle
A lot of times it is the strainer clogged at the pump. That has happened to mine. Hope that helps.
SOURCE: Affinity E21 error
E21 means "Not pumping out fast enough". Could be debris caught in the pump inlet sump or pump body.
Disconnect the inlet sump from the pump. Disconnect the outlet hose from the pump. Remove the (2) screws, one on each side, holding the pump housing to the washer base. Unplug the wires from the pump motor and lift the pump assembly out.

That would ether be your door lock or motor control board would need more info from you to pinpoint/bye for now...
SOURCE: frigidaire front loading washer keeps pausing during sanitize cycle
Sounds like the unit might be sudsing up too much or something is not allowing the sensors to operate and advance to the next cycle. Contact your purchasing dealer and have them come out since it is so new and under warranty.
Hi claire64 - Usually when "PAU" displays on the screens, it indicates that the unit thinks that the door is not securely latch when you started the cycle, or the cycle has been interrupted. Try pressing "PAUSE/CANCEL" or "START/PAUSE" once to resume washer. If proves to be ineffective, try reprogramming the unit by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes, restart unit and resume cycle. If fault reoccurs, then it typically means that the unit either has a faulty door latch assembly or a communication error from the control board. Since there are cost differences in parts, it is always a good idea to have a service tech properly diagnose your appliance.
