Right Rectangular prism, Length L, width W, Height H
Volume=2058 cm^3=L*W*H
However
L=3W, and H=2W
(3W)*W*(2W)=6 W^3=2058
W^3=(2058/6)=343
W=Cube root of 343=(343)^(1/3)=7 cm
L=3*7=21 cm
H=2*7=14 cm

SOURCE: surface area of a rectangular prism whose length

Since the 'base' and 'top' of any prism have the same shape, the surface area can be found by

  • surface area of prism = 2 * area of base + perimeter of base * H
So for the rectangular prism in your example..
  • surface area = 2LW + 2(L+W)H
  • = 2 * 7 * 4 + 2*(7+4)*5
  • = 56 + 2 * 11 * 5
  • = 56 +110
  • = 166 sq cm
Hope this helps

Rectangular prism is made from centimeter cubes. What are the dimensions of the prism width x length x height? What is the surface area of the prism? What is the volume of the prism?

Dimension of the prism is the number of cubes in width x length x height.

Surface area is 2(w x l) + 2(l x h) + 2 (wxh)

Volume is the number of cubes.

Good luck,

Please convert 19.5 cm long by 13 cm wide by. 3.5 cm high

I assume you are trying to find to volume (of a container).
Volume of a rectangular prism is length x width x height.
In this case, 19.5 x 13 x 3.5 or 887.25 cm^3.
Good luck.

How to calculate cubic feet ?

Calculating the cubic feet of a space requires multiplying the area of the bottom times the average height. You get the bottom area by multiplying the length times the width. Remember, to get cubic feet, you need all your measurements in feet to start with.

Here is your formula:

VOLUME (in cubic feet) = Length (in feet) X Width (in feet) X Height (in feet)

If it's a rectangular room you're working with, it is all straightforward. If there are irregular walls, it may be necessary to divide up the room into rectangular sections and then add together their individual volumes. If the ceiling is sloped, you need to use the height that has the same ceiling area above it as below it. Good luck! Truly.

Volume of rectangle formula

A rectangle is a two-dimensional figure and doesn't have a volume. It has an area equal to length times width. A rectangular prism has a volume equal to length times width times height.

Volume of rectangular prism

Volume =(Area of base)*Height.
Since it is rectangular prism, the base has the shape of a rectangle (Length L, Width W). Its area is L*W
Conclusion: Volume of a right rectangular prism with dimensions L, W, H, is L*W*H

How do you calculate cubic feet?

You calculate a volume. If all the lengths, radii, heights are in feet the resulting volume is in cubic feet.
Example: Right rectangular prism with L=5 ft, W= 3 ft, height =1.5 ft
Volume =(5 ft)*(3 ft)*(1.5 ft)= (5*3*1.5) (ft*ft*ft)=22.5 ft^3

What is the volume of 4in,9in,6in

Assumning that you have a rectangular based prism, you get the volume by multiplying the three dimensions (Volume =length*width*height). In this case Volume= 4*9*6=216 cubic inches

What is rectangular prism?

Hello
Rectangular Prism/Cuboid Definition:
A Rectangular Prism/Cuboid is a solid figure bounded by six rectangular faces, a rectangular box. All angles are right angles, and opposite faces of a cuboid are equal. It is also a right rectangular prism.

Rectangular Prism/Cuboid Formula:
Area of Base(A) = l * w
Perimeter of Base(P) = 2l + 2w
Surface Area of Prism = 2(lw) + (2l + 2w)h = 2A + Ph
Volume of Prism = lwh = Ah
Diagonal of Prism = Sqrt(l² + w² + h²)
where
l = length, w = width, h = height
