Go to Control panel > Add Remove programs (locate the audio driver installation) > click Uninstall (Remove).
The presently installed audio driver will be removed from the system.
Reboot the System
Right-Click 'My Computer' icon.
Click 'Properties'.
Click 'Device Manager'
Click on 'Sound and Game controllers'
Right click 'Audio device'
Select 'Update Driver'
That's all. The audio driver will be re-installed. If you have the Driver CD of the audio card, just put it into CD driver, before doing this. If you have internet connection, connect it too. If so, the system will audo-search for the audio device, and will install it automatically either from the O/S, CD Rom or by internet. [Before doing all of this, connect the system to internet, Insert the Audio Driver CD in the CD Rom (if you have it]

please check up your power cable or dc connector whateveryour device fitted
wth your bose speaker .if the connection ok increase the volume and openthe cable from the pc
tuch the stereo jack .Now you can listen a sound when tuch the jack.If you donot get any sound think your amplifire or audio system has no dc/acvoltage .if the voltage is ok thnk your sound system defected and go totechnician.

if you get the sound from ur soundsystem .plug right way to pc .and restart your pc .after that chek the volumeicon is there no check on on mute .if so check of the that.

sabuni ,,, what is ur laptop model and provide details about it ... or do you have the driver cd for the laptop ? If you have it then it is easy to install ur Audio drivers.

hi, you will need some cables for this job. to connect ur GX to the comp will take a stereo RC to EP cable, the RC connectors will go to the line out of ur GX and the EP will go to the line in of the comp sound card.. let me know

some BIOS options allow the disabling of on-board audio. did you check the BIOS setup screens?
