SOURCE: Sony Walkman NWZ-S615F problem detecting and syncronizing

I had the same problem. One day my Mp3 started acting weird and said it was not recognizing the files and that i needed to re download them. Try plugging it up to your computer while its charging and hit the power off. Then reset your mp3 with the button at the bottom and it should recognize it.

I want to add video songs via sonic stage but they are not added..

Hi,

The NWZ-S616F Walkman Player is not transferring the music using the SonicStage Software. Sony old Walkman player was using the SonicStage Software for transferring the files. You can use Windows Media Player 11 or higher, Media Manager for Walkman, Content Transfer Software or Windows Explorer for transferring the files to the Player.
Click here and select the operating System to download the Software for transferring the files.

Thanks for using FixYa.

What driver do i use for my sony mp4 player... model number nwz-s616f.. please help me

Hi,
It is not required to install any Driver for connecting the Walkman Player to the Computer. The Driver for recognizing the Walkman Player as a MTP Device is already installed in the Computer. You can install the supplied Windows Media Player 11 Software for transferring the files to the Player. You can either Drag and Drop the files using the Windows Explorer to the MUSIC Folder which appears as a Removable Drive or can use the Windows Media Player 11 for transferring. If the Player is not recognized by the Computer, try connecting to different USB ports and try re-installing the USB Driver from the Device Manager.
Thank you for using FixYa!

How do i set up the mp3 to down load

You can use the supplied software Windows Media Player 11 or Media Manager for WALKMAN or Content Transfer to transfer the music file from the Computer to the Walkman.

Simply use the Drag and Drop process to transfer the music to the Walkman.

You can use Windows Explorer or iTunes to drag and drop the data to the Content Transfer.

For detail information about to transfer the data refer the Help File or the page # 27 of 126 in the Operating Guide of the Walkman.

Sony nwz-e436f walkman os issue

Seems your SOL with Windows 2000. I checked Sony's site and the model you have is not compatible with your OS. Return it or get XP. Your system sounds like it has the requirements for Windows XP. Sorry but that's the best I can tell you.
