This is a toolbar error. If you have added toolbars yahoo, shopping, news, google, etc.... It can cause it. So can viruses. AskBar seems to be the most common to cause the error search and see if you have it C:\Program Files\AskBarDis you can also go to in IE Explorer (your internet) Programs, Manage Add Ons, and disable anything not signed or that you think maybe a virus. Anything from Sun, Microsoft, or Adobe just leave alone they are fine.

What is the solution to "Exception EOleSysError module at 00058E75."

Try this:

Run a CheckDisk:
How to run Chkdsk at the command prompt

(Windows XP)
  1. Click Start, and then click Run.
  2. In Open, type cmd, and then press ENTER.
  3. Use one of the following procedures:
    • To run Chkdsk in read-only mode, at the command prompt, type chkdsk, and then press ENTER.
    • To repair errors without scanning the volume for bad sectors, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/f, and then press ENTER.

Note If one or more of the files on the hard disk are open, you will receive the following message: Chkdsk cannot run because the volume is in use by another process. Would you like to schedule this volume to be checked the next time the system restarts? (Y/N)Type Y, and then press ENTER to schedule the disk check, and then restart your computer to start the disk check.
    • To repair errors, locate bad sectors, and recover readable information, at the command prompt, type chkdsk volume:/r, and then press ENTER.

      Windows Vista & Windows 7
You can launch CHKDSK using two methods (the former being the easiest):

      Graphical Interface:

Open the Computer option from the start menu, which will display all of the drives available to scan on your PC:

      108d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk.png
Then, right click on the drive you wish to scan for errors and select Properties:

      107d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk2.png
Now click the Tools menu, then Check Now under the error-checking section:

      106d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk3.png
You have several options within the check disk tool. It is always recommended you leave the "automatically fix file system errors" box checked, as this repairs and problems found. If you want to perform a deeper scan, tick "scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectors". This second option takes longer, but is worth doing if you suspect a drive problem. Once you are configured, click Start:

      105d1237820652-use-chkdsk-check-disk-chkdsk4.png
If you try to check a disk that is currently in use, you will receive a message asking if you wish to schedule a scan. Accepting this will perform the scan next time you restart your PC:

      Good Luck!

I am trying to install an expansion to Hidden and Dangerous 2, it is called Sabre squadron. I have had this installed on this system before, and I never had this problem. When I try to install it; It...

Possibly the uninstall has not been complete last time you uninstalled Hidden & Dangerous 2 Sabre Squadron.

Try to run uninstall again and then install. Also delete everything you can inside C:\WINDOWS\Temp and use EasyCleaner...
http://personal.inet.fi/business/toniarts/ecleane.htm
...to clean the registry.

If still fails, try uninstall and install in safe mode.

As a final solution. Just do a clean reinstall for whole Windows. For such a great game it is worth it.

Hello drea_mike67,

There may be any number of storage device faults causing the no disk exception error message. For instance, a usb device may have been removed without choosing the 'safely remove hardware' option. If that's the case then reconnect the usb device and choose 'safely remove hardware' (bottom right hand corner of your PC screen), and then remove the USB device.

If the error message still comes up then try using the device manager in the windows control panel like this:

•Opening the Control Panel
The Windows Control Panel can be opened by:
Selecting *Start > Control Panel (on Windows Vista)
- OR -
Start > Run > Type 'Control' and select OK (on Windows XP)

In the Control Panel, do the following:
•Select System
•Select the Hardware tab
•Select Device Manager
•Look for disk drives or other drives that are not used or recognized...
•Right click the device(s) and select uninstall

If this solution is helpful please click 'YES' by 'Was this helpful?' below.

Have a great day,

Internet explorer will not open. Error message below.

Okay, the driver for IE (hal.dll) needs to be reinstalled.

Do the following:

Press the windows key and R
Type in command
In the command prompt that comes up:
Type in cd C:\Windows\System32\
Type in taskkill /f /im "hal.dll"
Type in del hal.dll
Then restart your computer

What taskkill does is kill the IE application that is using the driver so you can delete it. After your system restarts, Windows will automatically reinstall the IE driver, and the problem will be fixed!
