When i turn on my rio carbon it says ther are to many tracks and to erase them what do i do

hi first of all update uour firmware: http://www.replaytv.com/support/rio/product.asp?model=267&SKU=90260554 also go to Software tab and update your Music Manager i belive this will solve all your problems good luck

I have bad news - I was completely unsuccessful in dragging tracks from the rio to my computer. You can load songs, but you can't "unload" them with the Rio Carbon.

Just in case your computer has capabilities that mine does not, try this:
Double-click "My Computer" on your PC desktop
Double click the Rio Carbon icon
Double click the "Music" folder
Try dragging a single music file from the "Music" folder window to your PC desktop - it will either work, or it will say that it cannot copy the file to the specified location.

The Rio Carbon supports direct file drag and drop to the player. Please get your facts right before posting comments that are not correct. There are also many programs that will work for file transfer with the Rio Carbon.
