Help! My HTC Droid Incredible 2 ADR6350 doesn't want to factory reset. When turned on, it brings on just the HTC start up screen, nd dats the end. Tried factory reset from factory mode using volume down, nd power button, bt it just wouldn't reset. It freezes when i select factory reset. Also wouldn't do a quick reboot. I wud appreciate any detailed help on what i should carry out. Many thanks!:(

whilst the phone is on take the back cover off and disconect the battery this should reset the phone , replace the battery and start as normal. Also the phone slows down if you have not deleted your text message inbox,sent box, deleted box so keep on top of that and clear your cookies if you been on the internet.

hi tazrahzeljr3 listen the best thing to do is to take the battery out of the phone.first.Then put it back in the phone . Also I want you to go to contacts and export them to your memory card. Also you should have a 16gb memory card in the driod and not a 2gb memory card. If you brought the phone brand new should take it back and get a replacement right away. Hope this help

Re-install the firmware (http://androidforums.com/htc-hero-sprint/45596-how-reinstall-os.html) if that fails, there may be a hardware issue. If HTC doesn't help you, here's a guide on how to disassemble an HTC Evo. Maybe a tech savy friend can do it for you. If you want to pay to have a service do it for you there are third party HTC Repair Services.

PLease do a hard reset on the phone and here is how you do it .

1. Turn the phone off. If it's frozen or unresponsive, pull then replace the battery.
2. Press and hold the Volume Up and Volume Down buttons and power the phone back on.
3. Continue to hold Volume Up and Volume Down until a factory reset screen appears.
