LF means long fill. So the washer is taking too long to fill. Make sure your hoses are connected to the right spot on the water valve. (hot on hot and cold on cold). Also check that the taps are fully open. If this is good remove the hoses from the washer water valve and put the end into the washer tub. Turn on the hoses and check for good flow. They're good? Check the mesh filter in each inlet of the water valve. All clean? Replace your water valve. Good luck!

Model 11026955690. Why does screen indicate LP?

I am not familiar with any error code referencing "LP". Could you be seeing "LF"?
Below are the error codes listed for your washer:
  • "LF" (Long Fill) Inlet hoses are kinked or clogged or water valve screens are not clear. (Solution: Straighten inlet hoses or clear screens of any foreign material.)
  • "LD" (Long Drain) Drain hose is kinked or clogged. (Solution: Straighten or unclog hose.)
  • "FF" (Fill Failure) Problem with water level sensing system. (Solution: Call for service.)
  • "OL" (Open Lid) Lid Is open during drain or spin. (Solution: Close lid.)
  • "PF" (Power Failure) Power to washer went off during cycle. (Solution: Press any pad to clear the display. Restart the washer from the beginning of the cycle.)

Why is my washer stopping and saying LF before it even starts?

LF means long fill. Could be caused by low water pressure or a restricted water input. Make sure that hoses are not kinked or crushed. There is usually a fine mesh screen in the water inlet at the back of the machine. Turn off the water supply valves, remove the hoses from the machine and check to be sure that the screens are not clogged with dirt.
It is also possible that the fill valves are not opening as they should.

What does "LF' mean with lights blinking?

LF Error code: LF stands for long fill and occurs when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on.

All washers are designed to operate with a water supply pressure of 20-100 PSI. When the pressure drops below 20 PSI the washer can have the following problems:

* Slow Fill- low water pressure reduces the speed at which water flows into the machine.
o Verify the pressure at all other water sources in the house (i.e. sinks, showers, etc..). If you find other places where the pressure is low, the problem is not with the machine but with the water supply.
* Continuous Fill- The valve may not fully seat under 20 PSI which would allow for a constant flow even when the machine is not supposed to be filling.
o Contact the water company to verify the pressure being supplied to the house.
* dispenser- Needs a minimum amount of pressure to function. May dispense constantly, at the wrong time, or not at all.
o A plumber may need to be consulted if the pressure is found to be too low.

Things you can check :

* Are the Hot and Cold water faucets turned on
* Are the water hoses kinked
o Make sure all the hose are straight and able to flow water
* Are the screen inside the water valve plugged
o Inlet valve should be free of debris and rust.
o Turn off water and remove the inlet hoses from washer.
o Remove any accumulated film or particles.
o Assure rubber washers are in the end of each inlet hose.
o Reinstall hoses, turn on water and check for leaks.

Error codes can be caused by a Power Surge or other electrical anomaly, attempt to return the washer to operation by following the Hard Reset procedure below.

1. Unplug or turn the circuit breaker off for 30 seconds.
2. Reconnect the unit to the power source by turning the breaker back on or plugging the unit back into the wall outlet.
3. Press the Pause/Cancel/Stop button twice to clear the display.
4. Start a short cycle to check the operation of the machine by selecting a cycle and pressing and holding the start button until the machine starts

Kenmore elite oasis model 110.27032600 LF error. had an issue with the washer cycling through all the lights, would turn it self on etc. Had the repair man come out and he replaced the computer board....

The LF error means Long Fill.

When you start a cycle the water should come into the dispensers. If you have a good flow through the dispenser the valves will be okay.

I recommend checking the inlet water screens on the back of the washer. The inlet screens are located on the water valve. To access the screens you will turn the water off and remove the inlet hoses. The screens prevent debris from entering the valve and sometimes over time mineral deposits build up on the screens. This can block the water or slow the water fills down to a trickle. You can pull the screens out and clean them if necessary. Flush the inlets thoroughly with water when replacing the screens. If debris gets past the screens, it can cause the valves to stick open and an overflow of water can result.

While you have the fill hoses disconnected, place the ends of the hoses in a bucket and briefly turn on the faucets to check for proper water pressure and flow from both hoses.

A common reason for an L F (long fill) error on this washer is the drain hose being stuck to far down the drain standpipe.

If the drain hose is to far down the standpipe then a siphon can occur which causes the washer to fill and drain at the same time. This will cause a long fill error.

What does LF mean on the washer? When I start my load it pops up as LF and stops washing. What do I need to do or what is wrong?

LF (F30)
LF flashes when the control don't sense any water coming in like it is supposed to do. Things to check:
Hoses connected; water turned wide open.
Hose screens plugged.themobilian_1134.jpg
Is water siphoning out due to having the drain hose too low? (30 inches above the floor)
Pressure hose from tub to control loose, pinched, hole, Sediment in tub? themobilian_1135.jpgthemobilian_1136.jpgBlow that tubing out and re-secure; retry with water OUT of tub so the pressure can properly build in that tubing. themobilian_1137.jpg

Washing machine displays an LF error code. Started last week during whitest whites cycle in rinse. I cancelled and just did rinse to finish my load. All other cycles worked and yesterday all started...

LF = Long Fill

LF flashes when the water level does not change for a period of time after the valves are turned on OR water has disengaged the basket but control does not detect a water level change.
Is water supply connected and turned on?
Are hose screens plugged?
Is water entering the tub? If so check pressure hose connection to machine/motor control.

Washer will start cycle then stop and LF starts blinking on the screen

From the owner's manual:

"LF" (Washer is taking too long to fill)
Check the following:
Are the water inlet hoses kinked or clogged?
Are the water inlet valve screens clear?
Press STOP to clear display.

Here's a suggestion I found that worked for me:

Check your drain hose to see it it's stuffed too far down the standpipe. Another poster had this problem and it gave her LF errors. If the drain hose hangs down too far it can siphon water out of the washer, and then the washer thinks it's taking too long too fill. There's supposed to be a U-shaped plastic bracket that sets the length of the drain hose where it goes into the standpipe. Your installer may have tossed it.
