The compressor can be replaced but it's often not worth doing. If it's under a year old it should be fully covered under warranty. If it's under 10 years old, the parts may be covered under warranty. In that case the labour is probably worth paying for. If you have your manual check in there for your warranty information. Good luck!

is the relay side sensitive? installed upright? what's starting amps on compressor? verify all connections tight, obviously replace start kit first but possibly compressor going bad.

Freezer side and fridge side not working, temps are freezer 30 fridge 50

Most likely the condenser coil is dirty. It is under the fridge, clean it with a vacuum, or air pressure, blow it out outside it will ne dusty . There are two to three fans. One by the compressor, called a condenser fan. If it is a side by side, usually there is a fan in the freezer section, and one in the refrigerator section. All need to work. If all this is and the compressor is running then chances are the compressor has bad valves. Make sure there is no ice on the coils in the refrigerator and freezer coils. If there is ice you have a defrost problem, which can be fixed. If the compressor has bad valves, get a new refrigerator.

Frigidaire commercial upright freezer

Try replacing the relay/overload on the compressor, if that doesn't fix the problem then you have a bad compressor

My kelvinator upright freezer stopped freezing and it just kicks on and kicks right back of what could be wrong with it?

Start Relay/Overload or Compressor is bad. A bad compressor can make a Start Relay/Overload go bad but the only way to find out if compressor or Start Relay/Overload is bad is to replace the Start Relay/Overload if it starts and stays running you fixed it if Prob. returns in a week or so or if you have the same Prob. after replacing the relay the compressor is bad.

Frigidaire Ultrafreeze upright just stopped working

It sounds as if your compressor it's running. This could be a bad compressor, bad capacitor, bad thermostat. See that there are no fans or defrost, it is one of the other. I would start with checking the capacitor. You can replace it with a Supco 3 in 1. It cost around $30.00. Anything else is going to start costing $100.00 and more. If you need a freezer that big, I would have it fixed unless it ends up being the compressor.

Kenmore freezer quit working after power outage

simple stuff, you have a compressor a stat and power. check the receptacle to be sure you have 120 volts . then check the compressor with stat at max cold setting to see if you have 120 volts at compressor. if you do then compresssor is bad =new compressor or new unit. if no power to compressor then stat is bad= new stat. i always recomend new unit cause new stat or compressor wont fix a freon leak.... i have replaced a few compressors that died soon after due to a freon leak. good luck...

Candy cpca240ffk compressor running.

i don't have a diagram but im familiar with that problem its either a bad relay on the compressor a bad thermal over load in the relay box mounted on the compressor terminals or a bad compressor don't know where you live im in usa here you can get an after market relay with a start capacitor and if its not the compressor will fix the problem
