A number of possible problems here. First, make sure your blue tooth stack is up to date. That means downloading the latest drivers. Second, make sure the speakers work by installing them onto another system. Third, make sure the system is routing the sound to the proper device, and finally, if the speakers work okay on another system, you've updated the Bluetooth drivers, you've checked the routing of the sound, make sure your sound card is working by putting in a wired set of speakers or headphones and testing for sound. My guess is that it's either that you have the sound routed to the wrong device or that your Bluetooth needs updated.
