My gba sp won't turn on

I finally got a new charger for my sp. It's been years since I've charged my sp and it is totally dead. So I plugged it in but none of the lights come on. Is there a way to fix it without replacing my battery? If not then how much would a new battery be and where can I get it?

My GBA SP wont charge

The lead or plug on your charger may be cracked. I have a SP charger but it has a bit of the plastic cracked off and has to be in a certain position to work properly. Otherwise you will need a new battery.

My G.B.A system does not power up

Exactly.
Same thing happened to me.
I got the blue one.
The problem is your battery has ran out if energy and the adapter/charger is done out of power with the inputs. So get a new adapter/charger and charge it for like 1 day.

My GBA SP was left out in the rain, and wont work

Yes, but internal composants or the screen could have been messed up. I wonder how your SP is still alive after that...

GBA SP not turning on

Did you charge it overnight? The battery was probably too dead for it to turn on. Or, your charger or battery may be bad. Try using another charger and if that doesn't work, replace the battery.

Gameboy advance sp - water damage - won't charge!

Hi Suzy,
it,s not worth repairing.
the cost of a new motherboard and fitting will cost more than the Gameboy advance. i bet the three year old lads not the flavour of the month, with the 7 year old :)
have a look on e-bays the best, not everyone wants these anymore. you might find One on Swapz.co.uk if your in England.
Hope this answers your question.
