File Explorer won't show SD Card

I purchased this unit mainly as a storage device for digital photos when I travel. I have a couple 4gb Lexar 133x Pro SDHC cards and when I put them into the SD slot on the Musetek unit, it will not show them. Any idea what the issue might be?

If your photos and videos are stored on the memory card, then remove the memory card from the camera and insert it into an USB memory card reader. Connect this USB memory card reader and memory card into the USB port of your working computer. Your computer will see this as an USB Mass Storage Device or an external storage device; you can then open the folder on the memory card and copy the photos and to your computer. How do I obtain more storage space on my Zumo 550

I don't believe that there is much else you can do but before i say that try using a 4GB sd card, think they can handle that. These units have a certain amount of memory reserved for system use and they will allow nothing else to use it. In the event that something does use it you get the "not enough memory to run program, Shutting down" error. Always fun

Does the digital photo frame have it's own internal storage, or do I need to purchase an SD card?

Hi,
Most digital photo frames have a small internal memory limiting you to the amount of pictures that it can show. If you want to have a slide show of a couple of hundred pictures or more then an SD card would be a good idea.

Regards.

My memory card won't work in my camerakeeps telling me to format the Lexar 2GB card every time I insert it

Use the camera to format the SD card not your computer. There should be a menu option to format it.

Coolpix 5200 + 4GB SD card

Any size SD card will work. The capacity limit is with the card, not the camera. All the camera does is serve as a recorder/reader for the card.
