TV is stuck on 1 channel - cant use buttons on top of the TV to change channels or volume - remote control for TV has power but the only button that seems to respond in the power button to turn on the TV - it wont even turn it off......Ive tried unplugging it and plugging it back in - no good.....Ive taken out the batteries of the remote and put them back no good - - how do I reset the remote control ? maybe that will work ?? help fast - Im loosing it !!
Perhaps you can try what I do when my KV24FV300 runs through channels and will not stop. Hard to watch and remote will not work. Nothing works but on and off from set.
Sony Says: Take all batteries out of ALL remotes that you use in any way for that set, VCR, etc. ALL batteries out. Turn TV off at set. Unplug TV. Wait at least 15 minutes then replace all batteries in ALL remotes. Plug TV back in and turn TV on from set.
Maybe, just maybe it will work. If it does not work why not call Sony, they always say that cannot happen but they have a solution for it.

i have a prima27'' it turns on automatically when you plug it in outlet stuck on one channel and volume wont work on the tv panel or remote???
