OK. very careful take a small drill bit, drill one hole on each side of the face holder the part the shows when the stereo is mounted drill juts enough to insert a pin or find a nail about half inch with the head so you can put it in when you close the latch (note.) the latch is hollow so you can drill about one 1/8 be very careful when you drill tape the tip of the drill bit so you don't drill more than what you need. It works I have my for a year good luck. motoroil

How to change the faceplate of a samsung s7330

  • Locate the small plastic tab on the top of your Samsung phone, located in the groove between the faceplate the main phone body. This tab is very tiny, only about one-sixteenth of an inch wide.

  • 2

Press on the plastic tab with your fingernail.

  • 3

Continue holding down the plastic piece while sliding the faceplate off the top of the phone. The faceplate only slides off from the top, so don't try to force it in a different direction.

  • 4

    Release the plastic tab.

  • 5

Line up the new faceplate with the top portion of your phone then slide it downward until it latches into place. You'll typically hear a soft click when the faceplate is secure. When properly placed, the new faceplate should not be able to wiggle or slide unless you press down the plastic tab once again

    Face wont open

if you have already tried hitting the reset button you should first remove the faceplate and check the contacts on the main unit and the back of the faceplate. if they are dirty clean them (with power off) with contact cleaner or a small eraser. if your lucky that will fix the problem but most likely you have a bad ribbon cable. this cable attaches the faceplate contacts to the main unit and flexes as the face tilts. after time these cables get small cracks that may not be visible. you can usualy buy the part from a place like pacparts.com and replace it to solve your problem.

HELP ME JVC GEEKS! Spring problem keeping faceplate on....

this might seem ridiculous but try heating up a needle that is no more then half the size of the nub and sticking it in the dead centre of the nub, once its cooled down cut off however much of the needle you have to and see if that works, an even more ghetto way of fixing it would be shoving a small straw over the nub to extend it.
    good luck

    Fujitsu d7830

    HI,
if you turn the laptop upside down, there should be either.
    1:) A release Latch.
2:) A single screw Holding the drive in Place.
3:) If none of the above, the keyboard will have to be removed, as it will be a single screw, holding the drive.
    4) Insert a small needle into the tiny hole, on the front of the DVD Faceplate. emergency eject. pull out the drawer. And pull the drive clean from the Laptop.
I,d suggest purchasing a service manual if you are unsure.
