Hi
Thanks for using FixYa. You’ll need to check down the edge
of the door seal, see if there is a lot of "gunk" there, this would
cause grey marks on laundry. Try these steps--
You'll have to do a few maintenance washes to clear it out of the tub.
Try these steps to remove the dirt, debris and odor from
the washer—
- Set
your machine to 60 degree wash.
- Now
add 1/2 a cup of Washing Soda or 4 cups of baking soda Crystals and run the machine with no
clothes in it.
- Your
drain will sparkle, and it will remove all the debris, lint & mold
growth from the drain pump and drain filter. Also the mold from the door
seal will be cleared
- Add 1 desert spoonful of Washing Soda to every
wash... I sprinkle it along the crease in the door seal.
- Clean
the fabric softener cup with a rag first, (bleach will not break up fabric
softener as it is introduced in the rinse cycle with the fabric
softener.
- Also check the drain hose, it should not be clogged.
This will clean your machine and get rid of the gritty
material in the bottom.
Please do rate the solution and revert for further
assistance.
Thanks
