Summit washer/dryer combo quit drying. Repairman came and replaced themafuse and thermastat kit. Shortly thereafter, the dryer cycle timer would indicate 10 minutes left and never clock down. The dryer would have to be manually shut off or would continue to dry without stopping. Also heavier clothes like jeans would not completely dry as before. Needed several cycles. Repairman returned and said he would have to contact Summit. After he ran a short heat cycle 20 minutes, the machine is not stuck and not usuable. The error message H Loc is flashing, the red light indicator for the closed ,door is on and yet you can open the door, the standard indicator red light is on, the water level light is on, and yet you cannot power the machine off or on, or start it back up. It is stuck. The repairman told me to unplug the machine and let it sit for 30 minutes and plug it back in to reset it. Well this did nothing, This unit is in a rental condo and is not working for the renter or us the owners. Called the repairman back and told him I cannot get the machine working again after he was here. He said he would have to talk with Summit. He is the suggested Summit repairman for this area. He only services this area two days a week and I have to take off work to get this unit worked on. Any advice on what could have happened since the machine worked last night, washed and dried -- just would not turn off once the time indicator reached 10 minutes -- stayed at 10 minutes. The repairman did open the top of the unit to make sure the blower was working. Other than that and letting the dryer operate for a period of 20 minutes, he did nothing else.

Summit washers are prone to board failures i would say that is where the fault lies . thermafuse fuse means it has been overheating. means it can damage other parts. thermostat would thing that has just worn out thermostat can go if the unit overheats. under line is an electrical fault. but like i've said it is a common fault with this make and others. the main boards can only handle around 50c in temp after that they start to over heat and cause problems. the faults started when they moved the main board from the bottom to the middle.

Dryer not running. If you jiggle the timer it come on but stops shortly thereafter

It sounds like you have a loose wire on the timer. Unplug the machine and remove the vented piece of metal from the back top (where you would expect the back of the timer to be) make sure all connections are secure. if they are and problem continues, you will need to replace the timer.

Thor laundry system won't dry clothes I have a thor no venting washer/dryer combo machine, that has been working fine for years. Suddenly it is not drying clothes and instead, clothes are soaking wet...

I am having the same problem on a WD9900A. The wash cycle works great. Spins fast and clothes are completely rung out. Dryer cycle heats up well. Fluffs and heats cloths. At some point during dry cycle water is injected on clothes and they end up sopping wet; much wetter than after wash. Filter is clear. Outlet pipe clear and functions well. Possible problem with dryer timer? Or washer timing kicking back on?

Hi, OK let me help. Do you hear any noise coming from the timer?
Whe it quit the first time, did it start right away or did you have to wait for a bit to restart it?

Prolem drying clothes

I just contacted Samsung Tech Support for my wash/dryer combo WD-J1255C.
The reply.."it is not a full dryer ...and it is not sold as a full drier.. and don't expect it to be completely dry". I queried why it is advertised as a dryer and got the same reply.
Its a great washer but why did I pay extra for the dryer combo?

LG WD-324RHD stops at 6 minutes left in drying

Your timer has gone bad and you need to replace the time. Best bet is to get a Technician out there but you can do it yoursel. It is behind the face plate where it counts down the time
