Usb rs232 cable

Hello, I have a problem with finding the driver of USB to RS232 for my pc Toshiba satellite L450 windows 7. i will be very grateful if you give a hand cauz i need the suitable very badly. thank you in advance

you need to buy a USB to serial converter, you can pick these up of ebay for about $5 or from GPS shops for about $30

Try removing (uninstalling) the driver in the Device Manager. Then download the chipset drivers and run the install. It should identify the correct driver automatically.

Windows 7 usb driver

make sure the db9 rs232 cable is the correct type.
be sure to set the correct parity and bit stops and baud rate.
you may require a driver if windows 7 isn't already set up for serial connections. http://myaccount.flukenetworks.com/fnet/en-us/supportAndDownloads/KB/Copper-Testing/scanlink/How_do_I_export_Scanlink_data_to_a_text_file

I would recommend a usb to serial adapter and make sure to get one with the drivers for windows 7.

How to connect ddx3216 to pc

You need to either connect it using a MIDI interface card and cables from the PC or you can use a RS232 serial cable which may be hard to find for your PC. It appears to use the 7 wire RS232 type connector at the mixer board end. You can get USB to MIDI converter devices from several sources.

might need some more details about the actual adapter that you are using.
The driver will depend on the make and model of the usb to rs232 adapter.
Also need to know which version of windows you are using.

Tthe Capshare only works with XP or Windows 7 Ultimate which has a virtual XP inside it ( a retrofit for outdated software).. I will not work with VIsta.

RS232 is now not being fitted to laptops This has become old technology. If you have devices that require connecting via an RS232 There are USB cables that emulate the connections of an RS232 that can be set to a com port to fool the device that it has the rightr connection. Look on Ebay there are quite a few at various prices, most from Hong Kong. I have bought aqnd used them to connect my radio scanners and Scancat software to program Amateur radios quite succesfully, as well as to run my old HP A3 scanner

I assume the RS232 cable is going to a serial port? I think you should add a USB card to your system. The old async chips used to support RS232 ports are not fast enough to take USB info.
