As i had some display problem in my phone i gave it in a service center they changed the phone display. from that day the display was good but am no able to play videos and view images in phone when i play any video i get a yellow screen the same problem occurs when i view images. i cant understand whether the problem is with the display or the software.

try changing ur message center number using someone else's phone n then put ur sim back in ur own phone.atleast dis worked for me.i hope it works for u too.:)

NOTE: The oil life calculation is set at a maximum of approximately 8,000 km (5,000 miles) or 180 days

1. Press and release the SETUP button until the message center displays PRESS RESET TO BEGIN SYSTEM CHECK.
2. Press and release the RESET button until the message center displays HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL.
3. Press and hold the RESET button for 2 seconds and release to reset the oil life to 100%.
4. The message center displays SETUP MENU HOLD RESET.

1. Place the ignition in the RUN position with the engine off (KOEO).

5. Press and release the TRIP/RESET button to scroll through the system check menu items until HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL is displayed.
6. Press and hold the TRIP/RESET button until OIL LIFE SET TO 100% is displayed.
7. Release the TRIP/RESET button. The oil life is now reset.

To reset the oil monitoring system to 100% after each oil change [approximately 5,000 miles (8,000 km) or 180 days] perform the following:

1. Enter SYSTEM CHECK to display "OIL XXX% OIL LIFE OK".
2. Press RESET control to display "HOLD RESET IF NEW OIL".
3. Press and hold RESET control for more than 2 seconds. Oil life is set to 100% and "OIL CHANGE SET TO 100%" is displayed

your phones display must have damaged.and it will grow day by day.
you have to purchase new one it will be available on nokia service center for around Rs700.
but there in market ordinary display are available which comes inRs400-500 range.
if you want to hang around your phone then go for orignal display.and it you planing to change device in 4or 6 month then go for ordinary one.

I can give you just suggestions.. Could not tell you anything clearing without seeing the set.. Ok.. Problems may be the strip would not have been changed properly or the display would have been gone.. Thnx

sounds like the cable is loose and just not getting a good enough connection just because you said after taking it apart it works for a few day then sarts acting up again

Try upgrade the firmware, bring your phone to HTC service center or to the place where you bought it. This might be caused from bugs from early firmware (software) from your phone, since people keep complaining, sure HTC will make a newer firmware which is bug-free and update it to internet or to their service center.

P.s: If you still have warranty, bring it to HTC service center, it'll be free and will not broke your warranty. And don't let them have your phone by days, upgrade only need couple of hours, try to wait them, make them promise that it'll be finished by that day. Good Luck ^^

You need to take the phone to a mobile center and have them unlock it for a fee.
