Sometimes it does take time for things to stabilize. I have had weather instruments take up to a day to get right. Unfortunately, just because something is new does not guarantee it is working perfectly. That's why most things come with a guarantee.

The most important things to remember with weather stations are placement and battery power. To get an accurate reading, you must have the sensors in the proper spot. If they are on a roof, they must be at least 3 feet above the roof. The batteries should be changed yearly and replaced with Lithium type batteries. Your sensor suite is a combination of anemometer and thermo-hygrometer. You may be able to purchase another temp sensor. The manual shows multiple channels for that application. On the indoor panel...hold down the alert button until you hear 2 beeps and see up/down arrows displayed on front (bottom). Use the up/down buttons on the front until you get F instead of C. Push the alert button again so the up/down arrows disappear on the front panel.
When the clock is in time mode the temperature is in the lower right hand corner. In this mode pressing the down arrow button will cycle from celsius to fahrenheit to seconds and then back to celsius.
