The freezer is fine, but water is dripping down from back of refrigerator and settling in the veg & fruit bins and also on bottom of refrigerator. It does not run out the bottom to the floor only inside the refrigerator.

Model # ET21PKXGX03. The drain plug is located in the rear of the freezer and there is no access to it. The rear panel is sealed. There is no cup as you suggested. This happened once before and I used a wire and ran it up the drain tube to the plug. This time ...no luck. Any suggestions?

Ice build up under vegetable and fruit bins

Pull the bins out. Just above them is a channel with a hole in the middle. Push a drinking straw in the hole to clear the drain. The water will drain away instead of dripping under the veg bins.

You have a clogged defrost drain tube, beneath the freezer evaporator (remove the back wall of the freezer compartment) there is a drip tray with a hole in it, the hole leads to the defrost drain tube- take a turkey baster and flush the drain with warm water until you hear it pour into the pan beneath the machine... Hi Erica, I am happy to assist you. I understand that water is collecting in the bins. Self-defrosting refrigerators dispose of the water generated during the defrost cycle, usually via a tube or channel that directs the water to a pan at the bottom of the refrigerator. From the pan, the water normally evaporates.

If the tube or channel is clogged or obstructed, the water backs up and leaks into the inside of the refrigerator compartment. Then the water builds up at the bottom, inside of the refrigerator bins. When the water has built up for a time it may spill out of the front of the door opening. To fix this problem, clear the drain tube or channel and allow the defrost water to flow down to the drain pan.

I certainly hope this troubleshooting tip resolves your concern. If you have any additional questions, please feel free to respond.

Generally you have to remove the back panel of the freezer. There you will find the freezer coil and fan. the defrost water drips off the coil during defrost and gravity flows down thru the drain. Hole should be in center of unit. Those drains plug up. clear drain.and make sure panels go back on correctly

Water accumulates under the vegtable and fruit bin

You may have a pluged drain tube and prevents the water from draining into the drip pan below the fridge.you will have to remove the tube from rear of fridge and clean. If you cannot get into the tube you will need to remove the rear panel inside the freezer compartment.and then pour hot water down from there till it breakes free.If your freezer is iced up you wil need 1of3 things first defrost timer second defrost thermostat third defrost element.Hope i helped:)
