SOURCE: Frigidaire affinity ATF6700FS won't

Some error code there? This may sound strange but give it a try. Unplug the electric. Leave unplugged 2 or 3 minutes, then plug it back in. This allows the controls to reset. It worked alot cases.

Inicially I could think in some drain problem, check hose for any clogged or obstruction there, try to jump voltage to the pumo to confirm if this device is working. If this dont solve it, you will need to check timer; in this link could finr some tip test: applianceaid.com/direct.html#burnt_timer

Visit this site to identify some parts replacement that you could need: partsearch/model.aspx?model_id=5152465&diagram (sample)

If you are not sure about how do it this job, or your machine is even under warranty, call the technician service.

Hope this helps.

SOURCE: frigidare affinity error code E23

Hello, welcome to FixYa.
I understand you have a Frigidaire Affinity ATF6000 series washer with an error code E23, correct ?
If that is indeed the error code you receive in the display it is potentially bad news unfortunately, as that indicates either loose wire (fingers crossed) or a failed drain pump relay on the control board. This is how it is described in the Frigidaire service tech manual.
macmarkus_1089.jpg

Further to this, if it is not a loose wire at the pump or on the control, the only remedy is to replace the control board, unless you are proficient at electronic repairs (including soldering techniques) and can purchase an exact relay and replace just the relay...though that doesn't guarantee the control hasn't suffered collateral damage in the process.
A new control is part #134523106...
it is available at several on-line parts vendors such as "repairclinic.com" or "searspartsdirect.com" to name a couple as these links will provide.

I have an Affinity washing machine that shows an E23 error code.

Hello Robert Reische, thank you for your inquiry!

I understand that your Frigidaire washer is showing an "E23" error code. Based off the information I show "E23" stands for drain pump relay on board failed or wire off the pump. Which means you could have an issue within the main control board or wiring to pump. Since it could be any one of these underlying issues I would recommend having a technician come out to properly diagnose and repair your appliance. Hopefully this helps. -Matt

What does error code E23 on a frigidaire affinty front load washing machine mean

Good Morning Friend,

I understand you are receiving an E23 code on your Frigidaire Affinity washer, model# GLTF2940ES. The E23 code states that the drain pump relay on the control board has failed. This could also be a possible false code. I suggest resetting your appliance, by either unplugging it or shutting the power off at the circuit breaker, for 3-5 minutes. Restore power and start any cycle. I ask that you please follow up with a comment on the post, at your convenience, to advise if further troubleshooting is needed or if your appliances status has changed successfully. Hope this is helpful.

-Best Regards-

We have an Affinity ATF6000F washing machine that makes s horrible noise during the spin cycle and shuts off with water still in the basin. When we hit Start and Cancel at the same time we get code E23.

Hi,

The error E23 denotes the drain **** relay on control board is failed.

Check whether there is some lose connections in the wires if nothing lose connection is there then you need to replace the control board.

Thank You

Affinity front loader ATF7000FGO E23 ERROR

E23 error code means the drain pump relay on the control board failed or wire off pump. You already replaced control board so check the wire at the pump and make sure it's secure.

Started out with E20. Now E23.

According to the code, the board is the culprit. The pump should be 120 V. Why don't you take a cheater cord with some alligator clips and put power directly to the pump. If the unit drains, you can pretty much trust the code and replace the board. Catriver
