Obvious question, did you try a new battery?
You can also try cleaning the battery compartment in case of loss of the contact between the battery and the holder.

Tony Little Gazelle Power Plus Glider Exercise. The display lights up but no counting, distance or time.

If the display on your Tony Little Gazelle Power Plus Glider Exercise machine lights up but doesn't show any counting, distance, or time information, there could be a few potential causes for this issue. Here are some troubleshooting steps you can take:
  1. Check Battery or Power Source: Ensure that the machine has a sufficient power source. If your Gazelle Power Plus Glider uses batteries, make sure they are fresh and properly inserted. If the machine is powered by an AC adapter, ensure it is securely connected to a working power outlet.
  2. Check Display Connections: Verify that the display module is properly connected to the machine. Inspect the cables or connectors for any signs of damage or loose connections. If necessary, unplug and reconnect the display module to ensure a secure connection.
  3. Reset the Machine: Try resetting the machine to its default settings. Depending on the model, this can be done by turning off the machine, unplugging it from the power source, waiting for a few minutes, and then plugging it back in. Refer to the user manual for specific instructions on resetting your Gazelle Power Plus Glider.
  4. Clean the Contacts: Over time, dirt, dust, or corrosion can accumulate on the electrical contacts. Use a soft cloth or cotton swab dipped in rubbing alcohol to clean the contacts on the display module and the corresponding contacts on the machine. Ensure that they are dry before reconnecting.
  5. Contact Customer Support: If the above steps do not resolve the issue, it may be best to contact the customer support of Tony Little or the manufacturer of the Gazelle Power Plus Glider. They will have specific troubleshooting advice and can guide you through any additional steps or recommend further solutions.
When contacting customer support, provide them with detailed information about the issue, including the model and any relevant serial numbers. They may be able to provide specific solutions or arrange for repairs or replacement parts if necessary.
It's worth noting that the steps provided are general guidelines, and the specific troubleshooting process for your Gazelle Power Plus Glider may vary. Always refer to the user manual or contact the manufacturer's customer support for model-specific instructions and recommendations.

Spedometer stopped working on my 04 silerado while driving, everything else works

Faulty cluster on 04 Silverado's. Google "Chevy cluster recall". If you're lucky GM will replace it. If not there's lots of guys that repair them. All you have to do is replace the little stepper motor for the speedometer. It's recommended you replace them all at once.(stepper motors) Anyways Google it, lots of info on this.

Kia mentor 2000 rev counter works on and off

The rev counter of course is electronic, most likely the tiny DC motor (called a stepper motor) that moves the counter is defective or the circuit for it is, you need to remove the instrument cluster from the dash and send it out for repair at a approved repair center. Many of these sites can be found by just a google search.

Speedometer is sticking and then jumping up every couple of mph

The speedometer in this truck is electronic, the needle is moved by a tiny electric motor called the speedometer needle stepper motor, a stepper motor is a DC motor than can hold one position rather than just rotate when power is applied to it. You will need to remove the instrument cluster from the truck and send it in to a Ford electronics repair center that repairs speedometers.

Thanks for your time here. The problem with my Sony CCD-TRV68 is that everything seems to work as normal in the Record mode of operation: viewfinder/LCD works OK, the tape is moving/rolling, the counter is...

This is usually caused by an oxidized, misaligned or defective Audio/Video drum. You can try running a cleaning tape through the camera. If this does not solve the problem the camera will need to be serviced by a qualified service technician.

My name is Rick and I'm a professional repair technician with over 20 years in the business and have repaired many of these. I'm semi retired and work from home with little overhead so I can keep repair costs low. If you decide to have the camera repaired, please click HERE for a directory listing that suits your needs.

Old singer sewing machine (306k) motor works, belt o.k. but drive to needle is very stiff needle barely moves / peter

Apply a little singer machine oil to each of the holes along the top and in the working area next to needleplate.........rock handwheel gently and make several full rotations in each direction ......... keep at the rocking and rolling periodically over several hours if necessary....it should come good after a little patience and persistence. Do not apply too much oil, it will only make a mess. NOTE: Belt needs a little give to prevent motor overload, so do not overtighten.
