The manual override on my ET 500 does not work. Problem is I have no idea on what principle it works so I cannot even think about fixing it

Disengage motor from gate by using key to unlock latch and pull release latch back to disengage motor gear . Then side gate back

I have an ET 500 gate motor. My neighbour's remote opens my gate as well when she opens her garage door. How can I change my ET receiver to prevent the neighbour opening my ET gate motor?

Most garage door openers and I assume gate actuators have jumpers or settings if computerized to change frequencies.
Both the remote and unit will have to be changed.

I am looking for a motor to replace a FRS 550 PH that I took out of a heavy duty sears 1/2 in drill. The motor is burned up.

You can buy a 550 motor for about 5 -10 $$ remove the pinion gear from the old one and put it on th new one
