Limited Service ???

I have a Samsung Tocco.
My sister found it, it was on o2.
But i put my Orange sim in and it worked.
Then i put a different 02 sim in and it said LIMITED SERVICE and wouldent let me ring anyone.
Next i tried more different sims and again it said limited service.
Now it wont let me use the Orange Sim either.

What can i do to use the phone on Vodaphone?

Remember it says limited service and emergancy calls only...

Does it need unlocking on all networks??
If so can you do it with this phone?
Or is it another problem

Please Helppppp!

Hi
what has happened is that the original owner has reported it to O2 and they have applied an IMEI bar to the handset that will be circulated to all uk networks. So unfortunately the phone is now useless! Dont bother spending money trying to unlock as you would be wasting your money once all the networks know. It probably worked for a while because the owner didnt report it straight away. Shame, not a bad phone!

How can i unlock my samsung tocco lite (S5230) to any network for free please ?

With working sim in phone, go to keypad and enter *2767*3855# and wait, this will fully reset phone so ensure you back up anything on it first, during repowering up remove battery and insert sim from other network then turn back on, phone should now be sim lock free. As always this is at your own risk. This will likely work with other Samsung phones

I got a new Samsung Tocco and am trying to put the sim card in from my old phone as I am wanting to keep the same number. My network is o2. When I put my old sim in my new phone it is asking for a password...

its the password to unlock the phone from the network that you bought it from! (probably vodafone) if you ring that network and tell them you are dissatisfied with their service they should honour you the password which will allow you to put the 02 sim in and use it! hope this helps!
