Whirlpool oven fault f03 shown

Hava a Whirlpool Generation 2000+ wall oven (model no; G2p 90F/WH). Error F03 is shown on display. Looking on the net this fault appeared to relate to the oven temperature sensor (thermistor). I replaced this part, but still have F03 on the oven. I'm thinking the main control pcb is at fault. Before I splash out on a new part can anyone confirm this is the fault for sure?

We have a Whirlpool oven model no. OBI C10 purchased from Ikea. It has fault F03 on the display. Is this a part that can be purchased and installed by ourselves? Or do I have to get a Whirlpool engineer out and pay £79 call-out charge for his services, plus cost of part? Is it possible to get the part?

F03 error is a sensor error.you could have taken an ohm reading on the thermistor to see if it was bad.if you replaces the t-mistor then the only other component responsible is the board.make sure all the connections on the board are clean and tight before you replace it.

It can also mean that the pcb has a faulty solder joint

Whirlpool AKZ161/03/IX bottom oven is showing F03. I suspect a sensor error, is the correct. Is the sensor separate from the main board (PCBA) or would I have to replace the complete main board (PCBA)

I replaced the temperature sensor and the F03 Error persists. Looking through the manual I find no ref to a thermal fuse, so I am assuming my my model does not have one. Also I installed a brand new Power Control Board and still have the F03 error. The issue started when I fitted the Control Unit, sets temperature and timer for lower oven.

Whirlpool oven fault f03

Hi

Code F03 usually means that the oven temperature sensor is 'open circuit', that is not working at all.

The remedy is to have it replaced.

Thanks for using FixYa. F3 error means Open oven temperature sensor or thermal fuse. You’ll need to replace oven temperature sensor or thermal fuse to resolve the issue.

My whirlpool generation 2000+ oven it says f03 what does this mean

This means you have a bad temperature sensor.

This is a very simple part to replace so you will save a ton of money by replacing this part on your own.

I bought a Whirlpool double oven AKZ161 and error code F03 appear

On this model, F03 indicates a faulty power control board (also known as the "Capricorn" board by Whirlpool technicians). A new oven with no guarantee? There is usually a reason something has no guarantee, in your case, a faulty control board. It is a relatively expensive part unfortunately.
You can try disconnecting from power, removing top panel from oven. The large square electronic board you see on the top of oven is the power control board. Check all plug connections are OK, especially the large thin multi plug that goes to the display board- I have had a poor connection at this plug causes F03 faults. If still no go, power control board will need replacing
