I currently have a Relic ZR11971 automatic skeleton watch and earlier this week, I noticed that it had simply stopped working. The "Pendulum" will not move unless I swivel the watch back and forth a couple times, then it will move but slowly stop. Could someone please help me figure out what the @!$? Is going on?!

You watch is automatic , which means as long as it's on your wrist and moving it will run. If you have it on your wrist and shake it a little then stops , then it will most likely need internal cleaning. Unfortunately nowadays watch repair shops charge around $35 - $45 to do this task. That's the price here in Florida, I am not sure where you live. I hope this helps

Usually the watch will run even if it's not moving but it has to be wound, this watch is also stopping even when it's on my wrist. I believe that gears are rubbing against each other manly because I noticed that it has become more difficult to set the watch ever since this happened.

I have Relic VX3J 3 Eye - stopped working after 2 years.

If turning the adjustment bead does not result in a clicking then it is likely quartz. I am presuming it did not require winding. So if it clicks and comes back to life it is automatic (just wear it to charge it) if not then it is likely quartz. Most automatic watches can also be manually wound to charge. This is better for the movement when it is fully unwound, 10 full turns to be on the cautious side from flat. It is unlikely you can overwind good quality modern watches as they have a clutch to prevent over winding. cheaper watches may or may not have this feature.

Relic watche zr11853 automatic is not working. No movement in the skeletal innards but the dial works if pulled out. There shouldn't be a "battery correct?

the RELIC ZR11853 is an automatic movement (spring) you have to rotate the crown to wind the spring,
the Automatic part is, when its worn on the wrist, the movement of your arm swings a small weight in the watch that winds the spring.

I bought an Akribos Shutter Watch, and it will tick for a while but after 2 hours or so, it will stop.

It needs a service.
The watch needs to be cleaned internally.

Just got a KC3775 and it has stopped working within a month. what could have gone wrong?

Did you leave it off for a few days?

Are you aware that automatic watches only run for 2-3 days before they stop if they are not worn?

To get it going again you can either hand wind it or gently shake it from side to side for a while.

If this does not work, I suggest you return it to the supplier under the warranty.

Does not run. does this watch have a battery in it?

There are two types power sources for watches. Automatic and battery.
Automatic needs to be either wound by the crown (winder on the side) or wound by the movement of the wrist while it is worn.
The battery powered is self explanatory.

Since you didn't include the model it's difficult to say for sure because Relic makes both automatics and battery powered watches. Although I can tell you is most automatics will clearly labeled. If your watch say automatic somewhere on the face or back you need to contact Relic for service because your watch has a 12 year warranty.

To prevent violating your warranty a jeweler should be the one who replaces the battery if it is battery power.
I included the link to Relic watches below for info on the warranty and instructions.
Hope this helps.

What ports wind what?

On mine, the center one (@the 6 position) is the one that keeps the pendulum swinging. It is the one that lengthens the most during the week and if I forget to wind it, that pendulum is all the way down when the clock stops.

Mens Relic watch stopped working after battry change

I suggest that your watch has an oxidized contacts and electricity can not reach the movement.
Do as folloes:
Take out the batttery,
Clean (scrape) all battery related contacts till they are shiny (use hardened steel needle for that),
Use the dust blower to get rid off any tiny dust and dirt particles after cleaning,
Refit the battery back.
Now your watch should work again.
If all written above do not help, then there is a problem with your watch and you will need the help of the watchmaker.
Do not forget to rate, please.
