Um, "machine screws"? Unless you have a metal fitting inside the cabinet for those to screw to, you don't need machine screws.

Assuming you do have the metal fitting, then take that fitting to the hardware store to get the correct screws (and perhaps nuts). How long? Measure the thickness of the bottom of your cabinet, add the thickness of the bracket(s), and get the next size longer.

Probably an 8-32 or 10-32 (possibly a 10-24) or even a 1/4-20. You can get small packs of these size screws at most hardware stores so would be cheap to busy one of each and try and once you know the size you can get a set screw of that size. Another crude way is to see what size drill bit will fit into the threaded hole. If a 3/32" goes but a 7/64" doesn't or fits tight, it is a size 6 (likely 32 threads per inch (TPI). If a 1/8" bit goes but a 9/64 doesn't or is really tight then it is a # 8 size. (8-32 is most common). If the 9/64 goes freely but a 5/32 doesn't it would likely be a 10-24 whereas if the 5/32 does go but an 11/64 doesn't then figure it to be a 10-32. Finally, it could be a 1/4-20 if a 3/16" bit goes but a 13/64 doesn't or is fairly tight. If it is really big and a 1/4" bit fits the hole then it is likely a 5/16-18.

Buy an inexpensive screw hole size template (used for inserting screws of unknown size into it, and reading what size hole it fits into, and then going to buy that screw) at Home Depot (HD) or Loews. If there is room to lay the template over one of the holes, you can eyeball which hole on the template is about the same diameter of the screw hole on the base. Then go to the store and look for that size screw (machine screw Vs wood screw), and purchase one of each of three sizes (the one that appears to be the one, and one that is the next size down, and one that is one size larger. Then see which one fits in the base (this will be a bit of trial an error). This should work until the right size is identified.
