The projector has a sensor to check for humidity, it is coming on earlier than you think, but it is warming out the bulb slowly so it will not shatters, this is a good thing. Be Patient! Tony
The projector doesn't use any kind of driver. You just need to connect it to the VGA output of the PC and actually, enable that output. Go to desktop settings and enable the second monitor. That will turn on the projector display.
Also, make sure the projector is turned on (Steady light on the power button) and that the VGA input is selected.
