You may buy any adapter with 12V, however, make sure the new one also matches at least the same Amp. of the monitor. Universal laptop adapters are ok to use.

It can be poor dolder joint s where the DC input jack is on the board, or it may have blown the fuse inside, you need to check that first.

Could be. That monitor came out when Windows XP was new. It is difficult to find authoritative information on it

Most LCD monitors use switching power supply, it has regulated DC output. Your monitor needs 12vdc output at 4.5~5amp

Start the computer in SAFE mode. F8 before Windows starts. Once in SAFE mode change the screen resolution to 600 X 480. Do this by right clicking anywhere on the desktop. Once done then reboot into normal mode.

Your monitor has any hardware issue.you can check it from service center

It should be the same type of power cord as for a computer so you can take one from a old computer or buy one at your local computer shop

Pick up a 100W Universal Laptop PSU which comes with various connectors. There should be one which fits, and there you go :)

it seems a whole lot of people have moniters with fatal ailments as i do as well. after spending $ 150.00 at computor stores & still had the same problem with my Moniter I just orderd another new moniter & the Problem is fixed..

I Think there killing moniters on purpose
