The F13 message generally indicates a communication problem with the EEPROM and logic chip in the control board. The checksum/identification is not the expected value. Try unplugging the range (or turning it off at the circuit breaker). Wait a few minutes before returning power to the range. If the F13 error recurs, the electronic oven control (EOC/clock) has to be replaced.
Please add a comment with the range model number (including the three digit prefix) if you want me to find the parts list. (You may be able to find this at SearsPartsDirect.com, unless the range is very old.)
F13 oven error
An F13 error code normally indicates that you have a bad EOC (Electronic Oven Control board). There is a possibility that you can get this error code due to a power surge through the electrical power lines. Try disconnecting the electrical power to the range by turning off the electrical breaker. Mar 10, 2013

Hi,
On Windows based machines, such as the Dell Inspiron Laptop Series, they do not come with a built in F13 key. Unfortunately you cannot add one to the keyboard, but it may be referring to the key after F12, which is usually labeled as Print Screen/SysRQ or PRTSCRN/SYSRQ. It is located around here:
Some external keyboards have an F13 for editing programs that use it. Sorry your laptop does not have one!
Hope this helps. If it does, please accept and rate the solution! Contact me with any more questions you may have. Thanks for using FixYa!
F13 Error = Dispenser circuit error If the dispenser motor is not able to be driven to it's proper position. Potential Causes
• Check mechanical linkage from dispenser motor to the top of the dispenser. • Check Wire Harness connections to the dispenser motor and Central Control Unit (CCU) • Check Dispenser Motor
f13 is a problem with the door lock, I have the same machine and it takes 4 minutes for the door latch to open and if it dont in the 4 minutes F13 comes up and the machine will go off and not start again.
i phoned Sears about error code f13 on a gas range, and was told to unplug the range for 30 minutes. i think she meant 30 seconds - to reprogram the microchip. i unplugged it for 15 minutes or so, then reconnected, and it worked.
