I think the usb port on this model is only for updates. You can't actually play anything through there

How can I resolve this?

Hi Gary

This can happen infrequently due to either the iPad needing a restart (iPhone 5's and 5s's) have similar issues.

There are two things to try;

1) Turn your samsung sound bar off, and pull out the power cord out of the wall, now this may sound unnecessary but the logic behind that is to have it clear any potential "error code" or crashed script which is powering the bluetooth transmitter in the sound bar. You do this for ca. 60 seconds, 30 will do too but we just want to be sure. Once that is done plug the bar in again and power it on and see if it works now.

2) Restart your iPad, this has the same logic behind as step one, but in this situation i'd like you to turn both off starting with your iPad.

It is not uncommon especially depending on the iOS your running on your iPad for the bluetooth transmitter not to see the bluetooth sources around you.

To turn your ipad off push the sleep/power button at the top right of your ipad for 10-15 seconds. Until you see the swipe to turn off. Let it shut down completely after you swiped it to turn off. (this can take a minute) Once you see the spinning wheel on your ipad disappear start with unplugging your Samsung Sound Bar. As in step one follow the same procedure until its back on. Now turn your iPad back on with the sleep / power button and wait till its fully loaded.

Now in the settings>bluetooth you should in theory see your sound bar again. If you still encounter problems don't hesitate to let me know.
Have a great weekend

How do I connect my LG 32LD350 to a samsung HW-E350 sound bar? My tv does not have audio out jacks.

Sorry but you cannot do this with this tv.. You need hdmi 1.4 support and you only have 1.3 the only way i have heard of it being done is through the headphone socket to a 3.5 jack to the aux socket on the soundbar.... johnB

My ipod wont show up on the bar when i plug it in the itunes

Sometimes your iPod fails to display in iTunes, which will keep you from being able to transfer songs from your computer to your iPod. If this happens, there are a number of steps you can take to resolve the issue.
Is it the iPod? Your iPod could fail to show in iTunes for a variety of reasons and this issue can be resolved by something as simple as rebooting your iPod. To reboot your iPod, first lay it on a flat surface. Using your thumb and index finger, press the play and menu button at the same time. If done correctly, your iPod screen will go blank and then you'll see the Apple logo. Is it the USB cable? Your iPod could fail to show in iTunes if you are using a defective USB cable. Try connecting your iPod to another computer that has iTunes installed using the same USB cable. If iPod again fails to show in iTunes, replace the USB cable. Is it my computer? One of the most common reasons your iPod doesn't show in iTunes is because your computer doesn't recognize your iPod is connected. Troubleshooting your computer/iPod connection Disconnect your iPod from the computer and reconnect. If your iPod still doesn't appear in iTunes, disconnect your iPod and reboot your machine. Once your computer has restarted, reconnect the iPod. Is it iTunes? Your iPod could be fail to display in iTunes if there is a issue with your iTunes program. If there is a problem with iTunes you can try updating the software to the most recent version. If that doesn't resolve your problem, re-install iTunes. b> http://www.itunes.com/ b> http://www.apple.com/support b> iPod Won't Connect to iTunes b> Apple's iTunes software contains mechanisms specially designed to sync with your iPod, allowing you to transfer music, videos and other media from your computer. If you find that iTunes does not recognize or allow you to access your iPod, then you cannot perform some of the device's most fundamental functions. Fortunately you can often resolve this problem without expensive maintenance, simply by doing a bit of troubleshooting and determining the cause of your connectivity problem.

Try resetting your iPod. Apple recommends this as a first step in troubleshooting an iPod not appearing in iTunes, since a quick reset will often restore functionality. If you use a click wheel iPod, hold down the "Menu" and center buttons until the Apple logo appears on your screen. For the iPod Touch, hold your "Home" button and "Sleep" button simultaneously until the Apple logo appears. Charge your iPod battery. If your battery has absolutely no power left, your iPod will often remain unresponsive even when plugged into iTunes. Try charging for three to four hours and then try connecting again. Plug your iPod into your computer using a different USB port. Sometimes a failed connection can mean you have a faulty USB port, so try plugging your USB cable into a different port and see if the iPod appears in iTunes. Verify that you have the latest version of iTunes. Visit the iTunes page Apple.com and check to see the latest version available. If you do not know which version currently runs on your computer, click "About iTunes." For Mac users, this option will appear under 'iTunes" on your menu bar. For Windows users, the option will appear under "Help" on your menu bar. Download the latest version of iTunes if necessary. Reconfigure your iPod service. If running iTunes on a Windows computer, click "Start > My Computer > Manage," and select "Services and Applications." Under "Services," select "iPod Service" and click "Stop." Leave the window open and connect your iPod to your computer. When your iPod shows up on your computer, click "Start." Reinstall iTunes. If simply updating iTunes does not work, you may have defective software. Try removing the program from your computer and completely and reinstalling it.

I have a DWL G120 USB Adapter using Windows 2000. We just switched from WEB to WPA security (becasue of connectivity problems with a new IPad) and now have no connectivity with this router

Define "no connectivity".

Does the iPad now have Internet access?

If you use an Ethernet cable to connect from a LAN port on the router to the network port on any desktop/notebook computer, does that computer get Internet access?

If you take an iPod Touch, and click SETTINGS and then click WI-FI, and then you select the SSID of your network, does the iPod get Internet access?

Ford Fiesta IPod connection problem

You need the specific cable from Ford, part number 8M5J-19C142-AA, Finis: 1529487 which has a USB and an aux jack. It costs about £19. You need to plug in both aux and USB and then connect the other end to your ipod. You can then scroll through the playlists etc using the dashboard controls. When you have selected your choice, press the OK button and the ipod should play. You can use the steering wheel controls to move forward or back through the tracks and to change the volume. The instructions in the handbook are not very helpful.
