My 6th sense a+a 7 kg awo 3571 8 year old washer doesn't seem to be adding enough water to wash or rince . Clothes have a strong smell of detergent

You should open machine from the bottom and unscrew the draining pipe that comes from the drum. In there there is a plastic ball. Take it out and put machine back together (clean draining pipe and hole in the drum where it comes together or it will leak). That ball is there to prevents spill outs in case of doom, but in practice threw time like 7-8 years it gets clogged and prevents pump to dry drum properly (can also burn your pump ergo new machine).

Now clean drum around the entrance and detergent dispenser with strong detergent (you can take product specially designed for mold or just use bleach) and after wash it on 90°C long program.

Change detergent as it may be bad quality. Try to use liquid one.

If problem persist it may be quantity of water. You can change quantity threw software (look it up and increase it, if it's set too low) (check manuals on that).

There may be human error, if you use programs that are short and cool or if you let your cloth seat in the drum after it's finish or if you add to much of detergent. You may get these results as well.

F05 fault after replacing brushes

F05 - NTC failure (SC/OC)
All appliances managed by the electronics measure the temperature using a thermistors. These thermistors changes resistance depending on the temperature. There are two kinds of thermistors, NTC and PTC.
NTC has a negative temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance decreasing (used in washing machine, dishwasher, dryer, refrigerator....etc).
PTC has a positive temperature coefficient which means that with increasing temperature the resistance increasing (used in oven, refrigerator for starting compressor...etc).
If you look in the table below, it is clear that the resistance value of 100 ohm means that is NTC faulty. So, I really do not understand how it is possible that the resistance increases with temperature?

Resistance of NTC depending on temperature
0 °C 35.9 kohm
30 °C 9.8 kohm
40 °C 6.6 kohm
50 °C 4.6 kohm
60 °C 3.2 kohm
70 °C 2.3 kohm
95 °C 1.1 kohm

The drum of my washing machine (a Whirlpool AWD 3571) has started to make a loud noise when it turns - both manually when machine empty and during a wash. How can I fix this?

makes a loud noise most when spinning comes from rear bearing either about to let go or has let go but not completely this is a job most technicains love to do because they charge more then the machine is worth to fix it although it is time consuming some can do the job in about 3-4 hrs with properly lubricating and cleaning and reinstalling the new parts you have to consider the hole inside of the machine has to come out and then the wash drum has to be taken apart down to its smallest components and then put back together usually ive seen them charge between 4-650 dollars in my opinion its much cheaper to just go out and treat yourslef to a new washer to assure that it is the rear bearing remove the top cover youll see the drum when you do have some one spin the drum while you listen towards the back of the machine have them spin it by hand by the way if you are hearing the noise when they spin it by hand and its toward the rear then you need a new rear main seal sorry about the bad news if i can answer any further questions please message me back please also remember to rank how this opinion has helped in your appliance situationThanks again
