Hi,
Appreciate the "Ask Me".
My compliments that you have determined that error code F06 indicates drive motor tach error. This relates to the controller board not sensing that the motor is spinning. This could be attributed to three (3) possibilities:
In some instances, it could just be the motor's capacitor that is defective. The capacitor provides the initial kick for the motor to start running. Failure on the capacitor will not kick start hence motor will not start hence RPM sensor says to controller board motor not running.
Hope this be of initial help/idea. Pls post back how things turned up or should you need additional information.
Good luck and kind regards. Thank you for using FixYa.

"F06" is a Motor Speed Error. The following link explains:

Read through the link provided and let me know if you have questions. In most cases this problem is attributed to a tachometer failure on the Motor Control Unit (MCU). If the this is the case, the MCU must be replaced.
If you require additional assistance, let me know. I hope you find this information helpful.

The F06 is a drive motor tachometer failure which means the motor control is not able to see the motor is running. This can be a difficult problem to pin down, but there are some things you can do yourself if you like. Check the connections between the motor control and motor. Also check connections on the central control are all tight. Push on all of the connections and see if there is any improvement.
