Judy,
It would be better to try and remove the baffle as the machine should still work fine with only two baffles.
It sounds dangerous to be using the machine with a broken baffle. If you cannot remove the baffle safely, please call out a serviceman.
HT GEEK.

Fix rattly noise in gas dryer

could be coins in the baffles, sometimes coins make it into your dryer, and they slide under the baffles, remove or open the top of your unit and you will see the screws that hold on each baffle, remove the screws and the baffle will come off inside the dryer with whatever is in there. then re-secure the baffles..

Gas runs out all the time gas gauge works when it wants to

Sounds like you have a broken tank or tank connection. The sending unit ( hanger ) has the gas pump and the gauge sender in the one unit htatgoes into the top of thetank. the tank has to be lowered to see. theirs three lines connected with snap on fuel connecters that take a line toolto release them. some methinol fuels will eat the seals out of these and rot the float for the fuel sender. If the tank has been hit hard from the bottom theirs a baffle that can come adrift and run into the hanger breaking the lines as they go though the top of the tank making a leak course you coulda run over something that punctureed and bent the tank.

2 dryer bars

The bars are called BAFFLES P/N: 12002559
They are attached by 4 screws through the drum. You must pop the top to reinstall the baffles. Take one of the baffles to the hardware store and buy some good fitting screws. Then pop the top 660ff1d.jpgand use a screwdriver to reattach them. Fairly easy to fix. IF you have the old ones. Do dry tennis shoes in there. Oopz LOL

Hair/Lint collecting on the Baffles of the dryer

I once heard you can periodically spray "Spray Starch" on the baffles themselves to alleviate lint and hair buildup. If you can prevent the unwanted particles from building up on the baffles theoretically they should be trapped in the dryer's lint collector.

Whirlpool duet washer has rock, marble, or something stuck inside

as long as your sure its an item between the tub assy the baffles in the drum can be removed and item fished out. but ifsomething snapped on the rear of the drum you would need to replace it. the baffle part number is 8182233, its about $40 thinknin thats worth a try before 475. the lower acess panel could also be removed and the main tub to pump hose could be removed which would give you a 3in hole to look through and try to grab somethin. worth a try
