Does the SIM card being used belong to the carrier you're on? If not, then in order to use that SIM card in that phone, the phone would have to be unlocked first.

Sir, i have motorola v9 problem in my cell fone poor signal sand me solution plz

Hello,
Problems which cause Network Signal transmission going down or not coming properly can be caused for 2 causes.
The first cause is the Network Provider's system is having some kind of problem with your Sim.
The second cause is that your phone's internal antenna which actually receives the signals form the your Network's tower, is damaged or not properly functioning.
Also, Signal strength also depends on where you are and who is your network provider.
I assist you that you borrow any one of your friend's Sim and see if the Signal strength is OK or not. If yes, then it is the Network provider's fault, if still low signal strength persists, the problem is with your phone. In this case, take it to the Motorola Service Center.
Thank You.

I need assistance my nokia 6270 is showing no network coverage and i cant dial or receive call,no network signal on the phone..

Hi There,

There are two possible reasons why this is not working.

1). The SIM card that you are using is no longer valid in the system of your mobile provider.

2). Your fone is faulty and does not make contact or recognise your SIM card whether or not it is inserted into the fone.

My N95 Nokia keeps telling me No services.

Try your sim with another fone that is on the same network, if same prob. with other fone then contact your network provider.
If prob not on other fone try "changing network mode" from "Dual Mode" to "GSM" also try manual network selection.
Menu>Tools>Settings>Phone>Network.
If still not working take back to place of purchase.

Network

try sim with other fone on same network, if prob cont. with other fone then contact your network.
If ok with other fone try selecting Menu>Settings>Press Navigation key right to find Connectivity>Scroll to Mobile networks>Select GSM/3G networks>Turn phone off>On.
If this doesn't work you will need to take your fone to a service center.

U600 unlocked

perhaps the phone was reported lost/ stolen by the previous owner... if that is the case, the phone would lock, and not be able to work
