You might want to check and see if that was the right lamp for that tv. You might have the wrong lamp

SOURCE: Lamp light blinking, Power Light blinking, TV off

Your description of the problem points to a power supply in the process of failing.
If it was mine, I would leave the set unplugged overnight, remove the back panel of the set, locate the power supply (likely on a separate board related to the incoming AC cable and will have larger components on it), look for an assembly number (often on a printed label), contact the manufacturer's service company and inquire about replacement or repair cost.
When you plug it back in, note whether it behaves normally at first turn-on. If is does, this tends to support the suspicion of a failing power supply since some of the passive components in it have had a chance to recover before weakening again.
Modern supplies are a good bit more efficient than 'linear' supplies of yore but are far more complex and much more dependent on quality of components.

SOURCE: JVC TV lamp indicator light blinking new lamp

if you purcased a LTI lamp then the possibilty of a bad lamp may be the case. LTI lamps are cheap and are poorly manufactured. if it is a JVC lamp then you may have further problems such as lamp balast, or thermal sensor. clean the fans and filtersfor better air flow. keeping the lanp cool is important for the life of the lamp.

SOURCE: Blue light and lamp light flashing, no picture.

Look in the owners manual for the directions on how to remove the lamp. Your model the lamp goes in from the front on the left looking at the TV. There is a thumb screw in the back on the corner holding the left front speaker on. Under the panel there is another thumb screw holding the lamp door on. You will need a Phillips screw driver to remove the lamp. You will most likely find that the lamp is bad. You will either have to order a lamp directly from JVC, a service center or a parts distributor.

when both the blue light and red light are blinking it means 1 of 3 things. 1. lamp replacement. This often works everytime for the repair. TIP!!! DO NOT USE ANY OTHER LAMPS OTHER THAN JVC AUTHENTIC LAMPS. ANY OTHERS AND YOU RISK DAMAGING YOUR TV FURTHER. 2. the fans are not working properly or need to be replaced. They need to be cleaned every so often and they will stop working from burn-out if not done so. This repair will cost you less than 100 dollars. 3. The ballasts are defective and need to be replaced. The ballasts themselves run about 150 dollars. I tell you I have fixed this TV more times than I care to count, not to mention the number of lamps I have gone through. The guy at the TV repair place now knows me by name when i come to buy lamps. :(

I have toshiba 50hm67 replaced lamp...tv worked, then quit working again, and giving blinking yellow lamp error light when turn on...after a few moments tv tries to turn off and back on

OK. I have this same issue. I replaced my bulb a month or so ago. TV worked fine. Then one morning I turned it on and it was on for a good while, till it went to a black screen w/ sound only. Lights were going through the reboot process as designed for 8 attempts before it went to the solid red light. From the red light, if I unplug and plug back in, the tv will come on for a given amount of time, which varies, and then cut to the black screen. A repairman told me that it sounds like the digital board is bad. He wanted $150 for the board and $100 labor. I cannot find anywhere where the board would be located or where I can purchase a replacement.

I have a 65 inch mitsu DLP, replaced the bulb 6 months ago.. Worked fine until this week.. Now the TV will power up, turn on, then show a picture for a second then go black.. It repeats this nonstop.. ...

Sounds like the Lamp is over temperature. Either the fan went out or the filter is clogged! You might check the filter first. I hope this will help you...

Problems with Mitsubishi WD-52525

When you replace these laps on these TV's they have an internal clock to countdown the lamp usage. After installing the new lamp the TV asked you if you replaced the lamp and you should answer yes. If not its going to ask again. First thing is go through the motion of replacing the lamp take the lamp out etc. then place it back in the set and turn it back on. Follow the on screen instructions and that should reset the lamp timer.
