I cant get my polaroid 7" tablet powered by android 4.1 to get to my wifi . the wifi on the tablet is turned on .i have put in the password but keep getting authentication problem. please help

Went to turn on Polaroid 7 Tablet and got launcher error message and the icon keeps turning likes its trying to turn on but never does. How can I manually correct this problem or should I take back to store its only a couple weeks old.

Maybe try going to the router settings and changing the security settings. See if turning off wifi password solves the problem then turn it back on.

Did you verify the wireless is enabled and connected to your network?
A lot of tablets will auto-disable the wireless when they go to sleep.

Just a thought, however, it might be that it automatically upgraded your Android operating system and now the apps are not compatible. Try deleting one of the apps and re-installing it. Hope this helps you - Learning Thermostat

You cant tap the sreen

Try using Polaroid's Support Site to reset your device.

As per Polaroid, Firmware updates will restore your Tablet back its original state from when you first powered on the device.

I wrote in another post that any valuable info on your Tablet is going to get erased during the update.

If your Tablet screen is still not functioning, then you have a hardware issue. typically, the manufacturer has a one year warranty. I found this number online, so call them at 877-768-8481

I had put my router number but it want let me connect to it.

Restart your tablet and try again. Do you have another device that can connect to your wifi? Is your password correct that you entered? It could be something on the internet side or you could be out of range of the wifi signal.
