Hi,
if the turntable is getting hot it means that the microwave is working but as the turntable is not turning , it means the adjustment of the door lock of your microwave may have become improper due to use.may be it got damaged.
call the technician of samsung microwave ,he will open the cabinet of microwave and make the adjustment of door lock proper.
Thanks
Nitin

SOURCE: whirlpool microwave oven model gh5184xpq

Models: GH9177XL GH5176XP GH5184XP GH6178XP GH6177XP
KHHS178L KHHS179L
Microwave will not operate (cook). F7 error code
appears on the display.
Electrical circuit interruption between L1 and Neutral in
the microwave inverter circuit.
Possible reasons:
1. Check door, hinge and cavity front alignment and adjust
as needed.
2. Check the operation of all interlock switches.
3. Check over temperature protector for the magnatron.
4. Check all Cavity Thermostats for closed circuit.
5. Unplug the oven for at least 40 seconds. If this solves
the problem
A. Check the Cooling Fan for proper operation or
blockage
B. Check the resistance of the magnetron thermostat.
It should be 0 Ohms, replace if necessary.
6. Check that the control cable to the 1100 watt inverter
is properly connected to plug P2 on the display PCB
& Adjust or Reconnect
7. If interlock switches operate correctly, replace 1100W
inverter.
8. If problem persists, replace control assembly.

Please let me know if you need any more help or have further questions about anything that I have posted. I would be glad to help

thanks

With the symptoms you mention, I would suspect:

- loose or corroded connection at the magnetron
- bad magnetron
- shorted high voltage diode

You can usually find helpful exploded view diagrams and order parts by entering your full model number here.

There should also be a "mini-manual" hidden inside the unit behind the control panel or hidden on the left side behind the grille, which is very helpful when troubleshooting & testing.

Here are some links you or someone you know can use for test help, but read their safety warnings first:

SOURCE: Humming ge sapcesaver microwave

During operation, most of the built-in models have a panel that tilts out while the exhaust fan is on. When cooking is done, the exhaust fan shuts off and the panel retracts to its normal position. With the fan & microwave motor off, the hum is easier to hear. Look closely at the top panel the next time you hear the hum, and you'll probably see that it's retracting.

SOURCE: My samsung microwave oven is

if your microwave does everything you have described , and you can hear the cooling fan running as well after you press the start button , you probably have a faulty wave guide. The wave guide is also called a Magnetron Tube. It is the main part of the microwave which produces the microwave energy . If this part is not functioning it is best to replace the entire unit, rather than have it repaired .

My LG microwave will not shut off. When not in cooking mode and I close the door, the light stays on, it makes a light humming noise and the center plate continues turning

All microwave ovens have microswitches to confirm door open/closed. Many have several, and a bad switch can cause all sorts of strange issues. My ovens have 4 such switches, and I've had several go bad. You have to open the oven up to see which you need, measure them, and replace the bad ones. The good news is that the switches aren't expensive.

Microwave continues heating even when off

The microwave has a short. You need to replace it, there's no real fix for it. Keep it unplugged and dispose of it. It will eventually catch on fire, and this isn't an exaggeration.

Microwave lights up plate turns something hums inside but the inside of the microwave never produces heat.

Sounds pretty normal but the inside is not supposed to get hot - only the food is.

Try heating a half glass of water for 1 minute if it gets hot... its working - if not then the actual microwave generating device inside has probably died.
In that case buy a new microwave oven as the cost of parts and labour to repair is usually more than cost of buying a new one.,

Microwave will not heat any thing.

the plate has nothing to do with the microwave heating up the food
but the magnetron that heat the food is bad and will need replacing
I would ask a electronic shop how much they would charge to replace it , and if is not worth it to you then a new one would be a good call
