Error code 5010 indicates carriage lift mechanism error. That means that the carriage did not move up or down properly. You need to replace PR lift shaft assy, Sheet feed unit, Logic board assy, Carriage lift sensor unit. Before replacement of the logic board assy, check the waste ink amount (by service test print or EEPROM information print). If the waste ink amount is 7% or more, also replace the ink absorber kit when replacing the logic board assy.
Hi... Projector show vertical lines... Issue in your logic board filter's missing on logic input board check for fail signal on video input logic board,,, check input connector for broken pin inside connector... also check capacitor & resistance arround video logic processor, possibility of over heat conponent
Error 6500 is a logic board error code (= 'other hardware error').
Before committing to replacing a logic board, ensure that the error has not been generated and held by spurious external signals. Reseat the ink cartridges. Remove any memory card(s). Check any flaps / covers are properly closed (eg. CD printing cover). Turn off the printer and disconnect the power lead and USB lead to the computer. Leave the printer disconnected from power and data signals for several minutes, allowing time for any static electrical signals present on the logic board to discharge.
...Actually it probably says error code 020000...flash test. Other error codes: 6 digits in codes: left to right digits; 1- Battery Test 0= Pass; 1= Fail ( batteries have to be good and in place even if using power supply (100000) 2=Flash Test/ Flash Charging 0=Pass; 1= Fail (020000) 3= IR Sensor Test 0= Pass; 3= Fail (003000) 4= Camera Mod Test 0= Pass; 4= Fail (000400) 5= Memory Test 0= Memory o.k. or no sd card; (000000) 5= Memory Full (000050) 6= SD card locked (000060) 7= SD card damaged (000070) 8= Comms Error (000080) 6= Clock Test 0= Pass; 9= Fail (000009) ALL SYSTEMS OK= 000000, GOOD
WHEN PERFORMING THESE TESTS, FOR THE FLASH TO TEST OK YOU HAVE TO COVER LIGHT SENSORS small glass items each side of lens.If you still have error, install good batteries, power on, drop batteries out, turn unit off, reinstall batteries and turn on again....if all this, you still have error, you probably have bad flash unit.
this can't be an error code; error codes are in the format of 000000...100000=bat.test(0=pass;1=failed);020000=flash test/charging(0=pass;2=fail);003000=IR Sensor Test(0=pass;3=fail);000400=Camera Mod Test(0=pass;4-fail);000050=Memory Test.In this digit there are several codes...(0=memory ok/no sd card;5=memory full;6=SDcard locked;7=SDcard damaged;8= comms error)last digit,000006=Clock Test(0=pass;9=fail). Are you sure this # is not preceeded by an "E", WOULD BE # OF EVENTS SINCE THEY WERE LAST CLEARED. Ron L.
