Screen gets distorted and turns white

hi, the main reason the screen turns whits is due to the thin ribbon that sends the data from the circuit board to the screen being damaged what happens is that the thin copper wires that are inside the ribbon ware and then break causing a short to the screen and this is what turns the screen white. this happens on most flip and slide phones as the ribbon moves when you slide or flip the phone so over time it becomes brittle and you lose the connection and this turns the screen white.

sometimes it will right itself if you open and close the phone a couple of times but this wont be a long term fix how ever it may be that bad that this will no longer work, its not expensive to get this ribbon replaced but taking you phone to a small phone shop would be your cheapest option.

most carrier retail stores have cellbrite machines and can retrieve your numbers so long as the phone powers on

you need a new phone

try letting it run for a little while sometimes it just needs time to warm up after not being used for awhile. unfortuntly i am not completly sure but i will look up more information on this.

replace your phone

This is a known issue with the Rumor. If you take your phone into a sprint repair center or call technical support, they will most likely repair or replace it for free.

that mean your screen cable make lose or your screen mobile damage you must change it . when your mobile fill down this problem paper. :-(

there are some wires in your hinge that could be loose. this happened to many krzr phones. what happens is your phone is not recognizing that you have flipped it open which is why nothing happens when you open it. some say an easy fix is to shake your phone and try and get the wire to go back into place without even opening it up but is not a guaranteed fix as it can cause wires to get crossed up and then your phone will start vibrating and not stop.(it happened to me). so id recommend doing that just to try. who knows maybe you will be lucky and it will work otherwise its best to take it back to your service provider and get a crappy loner one.
