I have a Whirlpool ET20PK refrigerator. The fridge door pivots on two pins when you open the door. The other day I opened the door and the whole door seperated from the fridge and came off in my hand. The top pin is still on the fridge but the bottom pin fell off along with a couple of washers. Can the pin be replaced or does the whole door need to be replaced?
Fridge fell off in my hand. I understand the idea of how it works on a lower and higher metal pivot. The pivot closest to floor seems to be missing a washer, screw or nut. I need an illus of what may be a missing part. Then an idea of how the door is lifted onto said pivot- With Ease!!
Should be able to just replace the pin if the door didn't get damaged. If you go to Sears.com, put in the model number and you can get a parts breakdown and order the parts yourself and save some money.
