The F10 code on a Kenmore oven means that the oven is overheating - the oven is detecting a temperature far over the safe range of operation. Most models also start beeping when this happens since it can be a safety concern.Apr. 14, 2020
Hi Elizabeth! From what you have posted, your appliance is experiencing a high-temperature error code (F10). A high-temperature error indicates that your oven has reached too high of a temperature for too long of a time period. If unplugging your appliance does not prove to be successful, you would require a visit from a professional to check the temperature sensor and the electronic oven control (brains of your appliance behind the touch pad). If you have any other questions please comment so I can help!
Thanks,
Chris
according to fridgidaire it means the gas is emitting at a fate thats too fast and the alarms is a warnuing to shut down the unit and have repaired thas all i can tell you
Thanks for using FixYa. F10 error means that the Electronic Range control (ERC) has gone bad and should be replaced. However, before replacing it you can take the screws out and then blow some air with the help of hair dryer so that if there is any moisture it blows it off. If still the issue is not resolved then replaced the ERC. Please do rate the solution if the issue is resolved or post a comment for further assistance.
Hello, the F10 error code means "Runaway temperature"most likely the
problem is bad Electronic oven Control ("clock/timer").it has to be
replaced together with the overlay because it's glued to the clock. Thanks
Go online and type in your model number and ask what the F10 code means. Every stove is slightly different. Mine did the same thing and the F2 code came on. Meant the sensor was gone and I replaced it in 10 minutes for under $80. Even a novice can do it. Perhaps same with yours, perhaps not.
Look in the back of the stove for a tech sheet. It should say on there. If I'm thinking of the right one, I believe it means the keypad is bad. Let me know what you find and I can help you further.
F1 means it is a defective eeprom. The software is incorrect. Replace EOC. Check inside the bottom drawer on the right side: there was an envelope with the troubleshooting and maintenance diagrams in it.
