If the top lifts up to clean you should check under there. Its like a drip pan and if anything got spilled on the top and went down it could be the problem.

Hello - From what you have described it sounds like the unit has faulty elements or could possibly be experiencing a wiring issue with the EOC. Try resetting the oven by unplugging it or flipping the household circuit breaker off. Wait approximately ten minutes and if it proves to be ineffective contact a professional to move forward accurately to properly diagnose the unit.

It depends o what kind of smoke. If it is just a burnt food smoke smell there is residue left on the walls that has refused to come off with cleaning and a harder detergent is required, perhaps allowed to soak for a longer time. If it is an electrical smoke smell, there is either a bad connection that is heating up and creating the smell or some wires hare carrying too great a load and are smouldering. Check the first item before looking at the next because that will require you to open the back of the oven to access the wires and contacts.

When the oven gets dirty and you don't run the clean cycle, dirt builds up and burns away the hotter the oven gets. Run the clean cycle if you have a self clean mode on the oven. throw the metal burner and grates in the oven too. (no plastic) open a window because it will stink and it takes a few hours to run. If not, use oven cleaner then run the oven to the hottest temp for at least 1-2 hours to burn the old dirt out..

Sounds like you need to clean the whole oven as old grease and spillages will keep on burning and smoking.

black is 110.v red is 110 v =220 volts white to center terminal . bare to frame of oven .. the damage could be to the pc board and the eoc ( clock) any fans ect . it may be more than you want to spend .. panel is 155.00 the clock is 155.00 fan 70.00 . you may not need all of this ., oven cost 764.00 / repair it .. mm /

Please follow the steps:

Run the self-cleaning cycle for your oven as often as you need to. It reduces almost any spill to a powdery gray pile of ash that can easily be wiped away at the end of the oven's cleaning cycle using a damp cloth. Make sure you have a window open during the process, to help keep smoke from sticking to walls and your ceiling. You may need to wash down the oven door and frame with a gentle cleaner to remove soil residue. Don't scrub the rubbery gasket that seals the oven door. Just rinse it with dish soap and then water. Don't use abrasives, or oven cleaners on the interior of the oven.

F7 stuck keypad
Stuck keypad may mean relay is turned on.
Determine if problem is with the Key Panel or Control by:
1. Pushing CLEAR/OFF pad.
2. Disconnecting Ribbon Cable from control and waiting at least 32 seconds to see if Code recurs

If code recurs, problem is in the control. Replace control.

If code does not recur, problem is with the Key Panel.

this is common its called vapor lock look for screws holding in the glass if none are found there is a rope looking seal around it take a hook or pliers and remove it the glass will come out you can clean in between it and put it back fairly easily.

Try a mild abrasive cleanser like Bon Ami or Soft Scrub and wipe clean.
