If it hasn't already been done, try contacting LG customer support and see what they can offer up in the way of how to reset/unlock the phone in the event that the security password has been forgotten.
okay you need to type the last four digits of you phone number which was the original code upon purchasing the phone, then press the pound button right after. type the four dgits and then immediently the pound sign. you might have to try it a couple of times before you get it. this is how many people are able to use locked phones that are stolen. my friend who works at a verizon fios taught me this when i locked and forgot my passcode.
You need to force it to be reprogrammed. Sometimes if you call in to tech support they will send an update for your phone... Or you can bring it in to any store, they should be able to do it there too. You should still have all your information, just all the security setting will reset to default (the password will reset to your last 4 digits of your phone number)
