The largest culprits for freeze up are dirty filter, dirty coil behind filter....and on certain occasions, low on freon.

Hi... I've researched for answers to your questions and I've found out that Walmart and Gold Star sell dehumidifiers. Visit Walmart here. Gold Star Appliances here. Hope this helps... :D
