did you upgrade the OS from say W7 to 10,
now the TALLY printer drivers fail, well sure they do, if you failed to get new driver from TALLY.

must we guess what you own and have and all things connected to a PC.

if you say (didn't) I have no printer , no talley and my used old PC has tally software loaded that I have zero need for this ever, then the answer is remove all TALLY software from the PC.

if you have a printer named TALLY, then post the model, I can not guess them.

In 2003, Tally merged with GENICOM to form TallyGenicom. In 2009, the TallyGenicom brand was acquired by Printronix.

So TALLY is now Printronix. only they can help you if they do at all.

then click select all
and click delete.
this cleans out program files, user appdata and registry of all parts of TALLY , if TALLY found.
