Hda3740g02sa With Heavy wash cycle chosen, water fills with selector set to heavy wash during heavy wash, water saver & rinse only. No water fills after the first drain after timer passes water saver. There is no water in the dishwasher from the time the detergent cup dumps until the timer passes thru the cycles to rinse only.

You have a problem which will need some knowledge of how the machine works and some test meter.There may be a problem with the motor.It may not beworking,jammed or dead -burnt out.The motor does the work after the water-cold,hot or medium-has entered.
The timer-you say works- will connect power to the motor to do its job,power to solonoid for the valves to open at the right time to let water in and out-pushed out by the motor.Remove the water with a cup and rags from the machine and then see if the motor turns by hand.This may mean you have to get under the machine.ALL WAYS REMOVE THE POWER CORD AT THE WALL POWER OUTLET--Jay

Take out the pump. You should find a broken rubber flapper indide blocking the outlet tube. Cheap to repair.
