In order to figure out if a wheel will fit your car you will need to know the lug pattern spacing (i.e 5x112) and centerbore (i.e 66.5mm) (if your wheels are hub centric). Also, depending on how big your brake calipers are you will need to consider if the wheel is big enough in diameter to clear them. Secondly, the lug bolts themselves need to be purchased correctly (if they do not come with the wheel) you will need to make them the correct length and type (conical or sphere) for the wheel.
