The phone turns on fine, and everything works (like if i ring it) but the screens not loading, it lights up a slightly lighter shade of black than wen its off, but thats it? any ideas? ive done a full factory restore.
There is a Blackberry Repair Guide that shows how to open a Blackberry 8900 Javelin and the storm is very similar. Check for any loose connections inside, otherwise you may need a new screen. Once it is open it's as easy as taking the broken screen off the front assembly and installing a new one, the parts are available on ebay. There are also third party blackberry repair services that will do this for you if you aren't covered under any other warranties.

the screens not loading for me? like its just a pure black screen. But its managed to start workin again on its own! but now it freezes loads. especially wen im writing a text
The backlight is slightly lit up but nothing comes up on the screen. How do you fix that since ive tried restoring everything?
